​SASBA's mission is to nurture and develop the musical abilities of young students, providing them with the resources and platforms needed to flourish. We are committed to promoting the joys of music and band participation, ensuring that every student has the chance to explore their potential and share their passion with others.

Our vision is to see every school in South Africa equipped with a thriving band program, where students can experience the camaraderie, discipline, and creative expression that comes with being part of a musical ensemble. We strive to create an inclusive environment where music education is accessible to all, regardless of background or circumstance.
